Also it is suitable for any OS including Linux.
The Avira is quite light program so you are able to use it with your old computer.
It automatically catches the virus or spyware that tries to attack your PC.
It is sad to say this but free vaccines made in Korea such as AlYac and V3lite is far inferior to Avira.
V3 lite is useful if you use Windows Server 2003.
The Avira provides Premium version as well which supports a few more features. But the free version is also recommended and it is a powerful vaccine.
